Poster for the South Asian Writers Series Readings, book signings and discussions scheduled for 24th February from 6 to 8pm at the Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies. The event was presented by the Centre for Indo Canadian Studies and the UFV English Department, and hosted five South Asian authors who spoke about their work and did some readings.

For 18 years, Chopra was the ombudsperson for the Law Society of British Columbia, providing conflict resolution, education, coaching and training to individuals and firms. In September 1999, Chopra published her first book, Beyond the Mirror: Seeing Ourselves as We Are. It was published by Abacho Publishing, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The poetry book offers a reflective and personal perspective from Chopra about life.
