Official First Day Cover issued by Canada Post, marking the release of a new stamp. The stamp was issued to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Vaisakhi, a Sikh religious event. The cover includes the stamp's issue date, April 19, 1999. The stamp design was created by Stacey Zabolotney. The cover includes a photo of a Sikh family as well as a history of Sikhs in Canada.
