Description
Group portrait of Gunwant Bains with an unidentified woman at a Halloween party entitled "Halloween Shaam Bhenan De Naam," that was organized by the BC Children's Hospital Foundation and held at the Fraserview Hall in Vancouver, B.C. The event included dinner, dance, entertainment and a pumpkin and costume contest.

Gunwant "Gunny" Bains is a prominent volunteer and philanthropist. She founded the Golden Girls Foundation in 1999, an all-women charitable organization that has raised over $1 million in support of causes such as the BC Children's Hospital and various global relief efforts.

The BC Children's Hospital Foundation fundraises for and serves the BC Children's Hospital, the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, and the Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children. Their mandate is to fundraise, champion, collaborate, inspire, amplify, and unite for the cause of increasing the extent and depth of healthcare for children in British Columbia.

Located on Fraser Street, Fraserview Hall has been a staple venue for various South Asian Canadian community events in Vancouver, B.C. over the past two decades.
Note
I believe "Halloween Shaam Bhenan De Naam" translates to "Halloween Night in Sisters' Name" but I'm not 100% sure.
