Standing at a podium under a shelter in front of an unidentified government building, Herb Doman delivers a speech at a Commonwealth Nature Legacy event. Eight local political figures stand behind him, one obscured by the podium. The leftmost political figure is Moe Sihota. Short trees, hedges, a lamp post, and a flagpole with the Canadian flag stand on the lawn behind the shelter. An onlooker can be seen listening to Herb's speech from a nearby sidewalk. Munmohan Singh "Moe" Sihota is a Canadian former broadcaster and politician. He is the first Canadian of South Asian and Indian descent to be elected to provincial parliament.

Poster on podium reads "A Heritage of Green Space The Commonwealth Nature Legacy Province of British Columbia".
