[Photo of a Pettibone cary-lift carrying a log in a snowy lumberyard]

1972-01-26

A sawmill worker drives a pettibone cary-lift sits through a snowy lumber yard, holding a large section of a felled tree in its claws. Other large log sections can be seen to the lift's right, with stacks of lumber visible far behind it. A stand of tall pine trees under an overcast sky can be seen in the background. Pettibone is a manufacturer of material handling equipment based in Baraga, Michigan.

Masking tape caption on photo reads "H-1 26/1/72". Decals on cary-lift read "Pettibone" and "Cary-lift".
