[Photo of Doman Industries lumber stored at a loading dock]

1982-03-24

Photo of a loading dock at Cowichan Bay. The right side of the dock is laden with large bales of lumber, banded with chains and branded with the Doman Industries logo. In the midground, three workmen in white hard hats are walking on top of the lumber. In the background, one workman sits on a bale of lumber while another stands near him. Behind them, an industrial crane lifts two bales of the Doman-branded lumber. The left side of the dock is bare, save for a few scattered wooden palettes and two transport trucks. Steep forested hills under an overcast sky can be seen across the water.

Labels on lumber read "D" and "16 H-20".
