Description
Newspaper clipping titled, "Indo-Canadian professionals step up fight to win skilled jobs" highlights the issue of discrimination against foreign credentials in Canada making highly skilled immigrants, such as Dr. Gian Singh Sangha and other members of the South Asian Canadian community, work as taxi drivers or take on security jobs. The article discusses how the community believes that foreign trained professionals should not be denied the opportunity for employment in their field and that the government should work towards ending this discrimination so that Canada can benefit from immigrants with advanced education. The article was issued in the Vancouver Sun and written by Kim Bolan.
