The article highlights the significance of the reopening on April 1st, 2007 of the Gur Sikh Temple in South Fraser Way, Abbotsford for the Indo-Canadian community members, especially the members of the Khalsa Diwan Society. According to them, the temple was built in 1911 from their pioneers: the Abbotsford Lumber Company Sikh Workers.
