Doman, Gurdial Singh

A cheque from the Duncan Branch of the Canadian Bank of Commerce signed by Herb Doman to deduct from his trucking account. It is stamped and marked "paid". This cheque, no. 466, is for one-hundred and twenty-one dollars and seventy-seven cents to be paid to Gurdial S. Doman on January 31st, 1953.

The man second from the right smokes a cigar. The leftmost man is Herb Doman. The man second from the left is identified as Don. The rightmost man is Gordy Doman. Two other young men are partially visible standing behind these four. Parked cars, trees, and a fence are visible in the background.

Thirteen dinner guests sit behind a long table at a Doman Industries company function in November of 1965. They are well-dressed, the men in suits and the women in dresses, some with corsages. Herb Doman sits sixth from the left. Gordy Doman sits seventh from the left, next to his brother. The table is laden with cups, plates, utensils, salt and pepper shakers, bowls of sugar cubes, and bowls of dinner rolls. A podium with a microphone is placed on the table in front of the Doman brothers and near to a small vase of flowers. The wall behind the dinner guests is fitted with regularly spaced rectangular mirrors over the damask wallpaper above its wainscotting. More tables and dinner guests can be seen reflected in the mirrors. The corner of a second long table can be seen in front of the table with the podium.

The leftmost man is unidentified, and the others are, from left to right, Gordy, Herb, and Ted Doman. A van is parked behind them.
