A Doman Industries transport truck emerges from the enclosed vehicle deck of the Kahloke ferry, driving up the boarding ramp and onto the gangplank. The truck is hauling long wooden planks. An onlooker, possibly Herb Doman, can be seen to the right of the truck, leaning on the railing of the gangplank. Another onlooker can be seen in the background, looking over the deck of the ferry. The SS Asbury Park was a high-speed coastal steamer built in 1903 in Philadelphia, U.S.A. It was later converted into an automobile ferry and bought by the Puget Sound Navigation Company. From 1953 to 1964 this company sailed it between Vancouver and Nanaimo under the name "Kahloke".

Thirteen dinner guests sit behind a long table at a Doman Industries company function in November of 1965. They are well-dressed, the men in suits and the women in dresses, some with corsages. Herb Doman sits sixth from the left. Gordy Doman sits seventh from the left, next to his brother. The table is laden with cups, plates, utensils, salt and pepper shakers, bowls of sugar cubes, and bowls of dinner rolls. A podium with a microphone is placed on the table in front of the Doman brothers and near to a small vase of flowers. The wall behind the dinner guests is fitted with regularly spaced rectangular mirrors over the damask wallpaper above its wainscotting. More tables and dinner guests can be seen reflected in the mirrors. The corner of a second long table can be seen in front of the table with the podium.

Forty-five guests pose for a group photo at a Doman Industries staff Christmas party. The guests are posed in two rows in front of the exit door of a restaurant. The first row consists of women wearing formal dresses with pinned-on corsages seated on chairs arranged in a rough semi-circle. There is a sign board propped up on the floor in front of the first row. The second row, standing behind the first, consists mostly of men in suits but also includes a few women. Herb Doman, smiling, stands just right of center in the second row. The party is being held in a restaurant with tile flooring and brick walls. The checkerboard tablecloths on the tables to the right and left of the guests suggest it is an Italian restaurant. Chandelier-style electric lights hang from the ceiling, which has been decorated with hanging strings of tinsel and floral arrangements. The brick wall in the background is decorated with painted cartoons of men and women dressed in 1890s sportswear.
