Newspaper clipping titled, "Would-be immigrants' rejection remembered" that discusses the various incidents of racism that members from the South Asian community have faced in Canada, including the Komagata Maru incident that occured on May 23, 1914. It talks about the prevalence of racism experienced by the community in the present as compared to the time of the Komagata Maru incident and the importance of raising awareness about it. The article was published on July 23, 2007 in The Province and written by Cheryl Chan.
