Newspaper clipping titled, Lieutenant Colonel Pritam Singh Jauhal's book titled "A Soldier Remembers" splendid releasing ceremony published by Indo-Canadian Times International Inc. on 18th December, 2013. The ceremony took place at the Newton library, Surrey where numerous important figures gathered to celebrate the book's release. The book talks about Pritam Singh's struggle with the The Royal Canadian Legion in 1993 when he was denied entry due to his turban and discusses the many struggles and accomplishments of a Sikh immigrant.

Thousands of people were gathered to celebrate the auspicious occasion including the then Premier Gordon Campbell who believd that the temple or gurdwara was symbolic of faith, dreams, tenacity and commitment of the Sikh community. The article was published on April 3rd, 2007 in The Abbotsford News and written by Rochelle Baker.

In this interview, Karm Singh Manak is talking about his immigration to Canada, struggles, schooling and work. He also talks about his struggles with racism and how he countered it. Moreover, he talks about his work history, politics, wars and the labour union strikes.
