Description
The research vessel Coulson Marine One floats in a body of water abutting a steep forested hillside. Three helicopters sit parked on board the Couslon Marine One, one on a raised platform at the bow, one amidst the other cargo in the centre of the deck, and one on a raised platform at the stern behind the bridge. A seaplane floats in the water off the portside of the Coulson Marine One. The Seaworker is a landing craft and research vessel built in 1965 in Esquimalt, B.C. It initially sailed under the name Frank Broderick and then under Coulson Marine One between 1995 and 1997.

Herb Doman and four other businessmen stand at a dock where a Cessna 185 "Skywagon" seaplane is moored. Herb, holding a briefcase, stands to the right of the seaplane with one other man. A third man stands on the seaplane's left pontoon, his left arm halfway into the open door of the seaplane's cabin. Two other men stand in the foreground on a pier connected to the dock. The cabin of a small boat can be seen to their right, with the rest of the boat obscured by the edge of the photograph. A lake stretches out behind the dock. A line of thin, warehouse-like buildings can be seen across the lake. Forests and distant mountains under an overcast sky can be seen in the background.

Two South Asian Canadian women pose for a photo at a dock where a Doman Industries-branded Cessna 185 "Skywagon" seaplane is moored. Both are likely unidentified members of the Doman family. A man stands on the steps of the seaplane with his head in the cabin. A lake stretches out behind the dock. Beyond the distant lakeshore, forests and mountains under an overcast sky can be seen.
