Opposite them sit 2 attendants. Each young woman is wearing a white gown with a corsage pinned on the right shoulder. The pageant winner's regalia is divided up between the two "Ladies". 1949's winner wears the crown and holds the scepter, while Hari wears the "Lady of the Lake" sash.
