Newspaper clipping titled, Lieutenant Colonel Pritam Singh Jauhal's book titled "A Soldier Remembers" splendid releasing ceremony published by Indo-Canadian Times International Inc. on 18th December, 2013. The ceremony took place at the Newton library, Surrey where numerous important figures gathered to celebrate the book's release. The book talks about Pritam Singh's struggle with the The Royal Canadian Legion in 1993 when he was denied entry due to his turban and discusses the many struggles and accomplishments of a Sikh immigrant.

Born on September 10, 1931, in Guyana, South America, Dr. Jagessar Das moved to Canada in 1955 to study medicine at the University of British Columbia. For 43+ years, he worked as a family doctor in North Delta and Surrey, B.C. He formed the Guru Kabir Association of Canada with his family, which was dedicated to the religion of Kabir Panth; he was also a founding member of the Global Clergy Association of Canada, through which he and his life partner held spiritual discussions and yoga sessions out of their home. He was a past president of the Vancouver Chapter of National Indo-Canadian Council, and a member of the Multifaith Leaders Fellowship.
