Indar Fuel Company was founded by Indar Singh Gill, where he carried fuel until 1958. His business declined when natural gas was starting to be used instead of fuel. The landscape includes evergreen trees and the mountains of the Fraser Valley.

At an unidentified company function at the Village Green Inn in Duncan, B.C., one man and two women pose for a photo. All three wear name tags. Both of the women carry purses and have red roses embroidered on the right lapel of their jackets. The woman on the left is an unidentified member of the Doman family. The man, standing in the centre, has his left arm interlocked with the right arm of the woman standing on the right. A crowd of party guests can be seen milling about in the background. The wall in the background is fitted with multiple light fixtures with five large lamps each.

The Village Green Inn is a hotel in Duncan, B.C. that opened in 1968.

The certificate includes the text of the document and the Furman Lumber Logo, which depicts a simple illustration of a felled log. John R. Furman was the founder and chairman of Furman Lumber, Inc. Furman Lumber Inc. was an American lumber company founded in 1956 in Massachusetts. It was dissolved on July 18 2001.

A cross-section of a log, given to Herb Doman as a token of appreciation from the employees at the Doman Industries sawmill at Cowichan Bay, sits on a tiled floor abutting a grassy outdoor area. The cross-section of the log is decorated with a red Doman Industries logo and fitted with a small plaque bearing the dedication.
