The films feature beautiful music by Ustad Bismillah Khan, Girija Devi, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and other leading musicians of India and Pakistan. Yves Billon is a documentary filmmaker from France. He was born on July 9, 1946 in the city of Paris in Île-de-France, France. He has collaborated with Pakistani ethnomusicologist Adam Nayyar. He is the founder of the production companies Les Films du Village and Zaradoc.
