Description
Group photo of the 1951 Lady of the Lake along with Gurdev Hari and her other 2 attendants in Lake Cowichan, B.C. They are posed standing in front of a parade float with the lake visible behind them. Each young woman is wearing a white gown with a corsage pinned on the right shoulder, except for Hari, who wears her corsage pinned on the left. The pageant winner also has her regalia - a paper crown, a scepter and a sash reading "Lady of the Lake". The parade float is decorated to resemble a boat.
