Description
Series consist of photographs taken during a meeting organized by Balwant S. Sanghera, a South Asian Canadian educator and community activist. Included in the meeting were South Asian Canadian community members, including Gurdwara leaders, as well as politicians and police officers who were part of the B.C Integrated Gang Task Force. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways in which the government could assist the community in dealing with issues of gang and drug violence among South Asian Canadian youth.
